Valentine's Dinner

We spent two days/nights in Portland recently, and had the pleasure of having dinner at McCormick & Schmick's Harborside at the Marina. We had mixed up our reservation time with another reservation, and were 45 minutes late. The staff was very gracious and accommodating, and seated us quickly. We had a table on one of the upper terraces, and had a very enjoyable and personable waiter named Thomas. We began our meal by ordering their famous NW Raspberry Martini...that is one yummy drink! We also had their crab and shrimp 'tater tots,' which are a real treat. The restaurant was offering a special menu for Valentine's weekend, and we chose a salad, along with a filet mignon and salmon fillet, served with fresh vegetables. The steak was melt-in-your-mouth delicious, and the salmon was cooked just right. After our meal we were shown the dessert tray, and chose one 'to go,' since we were too full to enjoy dessert there. We had an absolutely wonderful time, and would highly recommend visiting McCormick & Schmick's Harborside at the Marina!
